The Perfect Strike Gundam! One of my favorite mobile suits and now model kits! This was my first P-Bandai pre-order, back in 2022-23.
Perfect Strike Gundam pre-build
Just to ramble a little bit, the Strike Gundam is the primary Hero mobile suit in the TV series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (2002). As the name suggests, the Perfect Strike is equipped with the perfect combination of its 3 “striker packs”.
AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker: is the jet pack backpack, with a battery back tail when all the striker packs are equipped.

AQM/E-X02 Sword Striker: Designed to give the base Strike Gundam extra close combat capabilities. With the “Schwert Gewehr” anti-ship sword, “Panzer Eisen” grapple hook on the left forearm, and left shoulder beam boomerang, the Strike would be equipped to survive and close encounter with any enemy mobile suit.

AQM/E-X03 Launcher Strike: Designed for long-range combat, equipped with the “Agni” 320mm hyper impulse cannon and a combo weapons pod on the right shoulder; 120mm anti-ship Vulcan Gun, and two missile launchers. This loadout was used in episode 3 of the series.

I remember watching the series, and after seeing all three striker packs premiered one-by-one, wanting to see all three equipped at once. Fans like me were serviced with the Perfect Strike Gundam!
The build is perfect! The Strike Gundam is super solid and stands on its own very well.
I would have liked to see more shoulder mobility and filled-in plastic for the Launcher Strike armor on the right shoulder. I guess that means it isn’t perfect. 😅
This kit is one of the few that includes a display base. I am sure Bandai noticed the kit is a little back heavy with all the packs equipped. With the stand you can easily increase the variety of poses that can be performed.
This was the 2nd kit I used black Tamiya panel line accent fluid. The base white armor doesn’t have a lot of panel lines, but there are a ton of accessories with plenty of details to practice on. This kit even includes two folding Armor Schneider blades that fit into the side skirt armor.
